From a filing to a name.
The TRRC Permit Tracker is free and publishes every Texas drilling permit, refreshed each morning and searchable by county, operator, and date, with CSV export. Opening the search asks for an email; nothing else on the site does. 187 permits landed this week alone.
A permit names an operator and a location, not an owner. The county records directory tells you where that county keeps its deed and lease index, and the M&A archive traces the operator on the filing back through its acquisitions.
