1. Overview
To run Scout and our free tools, we use a small set of established service providers (subprocessors) that process data on our behalf. We share only what each provider needs to perform its function, under contracts that require them to protect your data. This page lists our current subprocessors. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data overall.
2. Infrastructure and Data Storage
- Supabase: primary database, authentication, and file storage. Processes your account data and the content you put into Scout. United States.
- Vercel: application hosting and content delivery for our websites and app, and cookieless Vercel Web Analytics. United States.
3. Payments
- Stripe: subscription billing and payment processing. Handles your payment method and billing details directly; we do not store full card numbers. United States.
4. AI Processing
- Anthropic: powers Scout's AI-assisted features (import mapping, template detection, and signature or terms extraction). Processes the portions of your data those features operate on. Anthropic does not use data submitted through its API to train its models. United States.
5. Document Conversion
- CloudConvert: converts document and file formats (for example, PDF generation and conversion) for documents you generate or upload. European Union (Germany).
6. Email Delivery
- Resend: delivers transactional and notification email, such as account, security, and permit-digest messages. United States.
7. Changes to This List
We may add or replace subprocessors as the Services evolve. When we do, we will update this page. Where a Data Processing Agreement is in place, we will provide advance notice of a new subprocessor as that agreement requires, giving you an opportunity to object.
